Ah, this is a good one, and had me stumped for a while when it happened to me!

Under the bonnet on the RH side is a push button sensor that the bonnet comes down on when it closes, it is covered by a rubber ribbed boot. This switch completes the alarm arming sequence (or something).

Sometimes when people are opening and slamming the bonnet a lot the metal bracket this switch sits on gets a bit bent so doesn't "arm" when bonnet is closed. So just bend the bracket back up a couple of mm smile

Hope that sorts it!

10 points that man, cheers that saved me hours of headaches, sensor bent down about 10mm from usual position.
