Porsche 911 spotted in Aberdeen.
Discussion
My wife has been telling my 5 y/o son about a blue Porsche 911 with Disney 'Cars' livery on it, spotted in Aberdeen. She has seen it a few times now, and the wee man keeps missing it. I don't suppose anyone has a pic of it they could post. As you can imagine, he is most intrigued, and I don't think we are going to get peace, til he sees it for himself. I know it's a long shot, but I thought this forum was my best bet.

You are in Luck! Another pistonhead-er told me about this post, and am glad to be able to send you a picture - not the best quality I know, but will try and get another one before I take the vinyls off.
Many of you will ask "Why on earth would you cover the car in Disney Cars vinyls?", well there is method behind the madness!
Two weeks past, there was a charity event held at Crail called Supercar Kidz 4 for children affected by cancer. It simply gave children from Ninewells Hospital the opportunity see all of the cars together and then to nip round the track in a car of their choice. Great turn out of cars including Aston's Lambo's, Porsche, TVR's and Ferarri's, and anyone who took part would say how great it was to see the smiles on their little faces (drivers and kids ha ha).

Hey Rossy,
When I reread my posting I realised my thread title was a bit ambiguous to say the least haha.
Thanks for posting the pick, I will show it to the wee man tomorrow. And good on you for putting your car to a worthwhile cause for the day and entering in to the spirit of things. I am sure you put lots of smiles on faces.
Funnily enough, after posting on Sunday evening I saw you on monday morning heading past Shell on Wellington Rd, but once again the wee guy wasn't with me.
All the best, Graham.
