Evening all,

I need to attend some offices in Leeds for a few hours mid-day this week. When I have been before, parking has cost be £9.80 for 3 hours eek

Can anyone recommend anywhere within walking distance of the place on the map, which would be cheaper?

Thanks,

Defcon5

There are a couple of car parks on Whitehall Road near the train station which are a reasonable price for a few hours and within walking distance of where you need to be (~5 mins).

One is a gravel car park with payment on entry but I cant remember the name, the other is a proper car park directly opposite and is a pay and display. On the old MEPC site I think.

Hope that helps,

There's an open air car park in front of Chaophraya restaurant which is in easy walking distance for you. I think it's £5 a day.

15mins walk is fine (ill just need to check the map!).

Last time I was in a rush, so time overtook cost.

Know it well, the car park I mentioned is called Apcoa would be fine as long as you are not in some thing too exotic. Car park has system where you can pay by phone if you need, good luck with the exams

Trafalger Street is cheap because of the refurbishment works going on, but gets busy with all day parkers.

It's secure, light (how funny!) and convenient but by heck they know how to charge, it's even more frustrating when you are stuck in a queue to pay and go over by 2 minutes and end up paying £3.00 more frown

No discounted parking for the Vue or any of the shops / restaurants in there either AFAIK and it encourages people to walk between parked cars to get in and out.

Only place I park if I'm in my car. Yep its a few quid more but your car will be safe and secure and you can always find big corner bays.
