I have had a look on the web, but can't find the info I want.

What is on the underside of a belly button. Is there nothing attached to it and just your normal body parts underneath?

Are there any pictures?

Thanks,

Slinky

As in, what is behind a belly button? It's the peritoneal cavity, the Navel is simply a scar left by the removal of the umbilical cord..

I did mean the underside of it and not behind.

Thanks for letting me know it is just a scar.

Do you mean underneath (if not behind) in which case under mine is a little bit of hair and under that is a device which simply means I am better than you......unless I have misunderstood your username and you also have a C0ck...hehe

why is it that most of the fluff in it is blue no matter what you wear?

I wondered as one of my pregnant friends has shown me her moving belly button (it was weird). We thought maybe something was attached and being pulled underneath it.

I was always told as a kid that if I played with my belly button, my penis would fall off.

Now, it never did, but I can get an odd sensation in my penis from playing with my bellybutton...

When looking inside the abdomen with a camera (laparoscopy) they use the belly button as a way in. It's already a scar (no new scar) it's about the right size for the laparoscope (10mm) and behind it there is usually nothing important tethered.

There can be a remnant of fetal growth leading down from the umbilicus, the Median Umbilical Ligament. This can be cut without consequance.

Once you've opened an abdomen (surgically) you develop adhesions, which stick anything to anything; so in this case, lots can be stuck to the back of the umbilicus

I was always told that if I didn't stop playing with my penis, my penis would drop off.

It didn't, so I still do.
