Water in the roof catches?
Discussion
Has anyone else experienced this? It's started happening on my passenger side. I can't work out where it's coming from. The catch (actually both sides) felt a bit looser yesterday than they used to be, could they need adjusting to pull the roof tighter to the top of the windscreen? Or does the windscreen rubber need replacing due to age and not getting a good seal or something?
It's definitely not coming in through the window rubber seal.

There isn't anything in the seal is there? i.e. a stick/screw/socket etc. stuck in the gap?
Are the screws that hold the latches on all tight? They do have a habit of falling out.
The latches are easy enough to adjust but needing adjustment is usually a sign of something else, either the latch being worn/loose or seals wearing out. If everything is tight and the seal is in good condition (i.e. no holes/cracks) then try adjusting the latches a bit. Not too tight though as that causing it's own issues.

Definitely nothing stuck in the gap. I'll have a go at tightening the seals and see if that does anything. TaAre the screws that hold the latches on all tight? They do have a habit of falling out.

This happened to me (well my passenger) last winter. Lovely crisp dry winter's morning - ideal scarf on, roof down weather - pulled the catches, and the passenger side poured some ice water onto my mate.
I checked the seals/rubber and couldn't see anything wrong, I ended up removing and refitting both catches - hasn't happened since!
