Week/10 days away in Jan/Feb, no beaches.

Looking at a week/10 days away in Jan/Feb,
Undecided as where to go, prefer warm weather and a place with culture, will just a be a flight ticket then explore and find my own digs as I go,
So far on the list is India (Goa), New Zealand and Havana (hire a car).
Anybody have any experiances or suggestions?

Rajasthan is good. Havana is great, food crap, but amazing architecture,rum and cigars. It will be gone when commerce arrives so catch it when you can.....

Thats it, I feel I need to go before Castro goes as I think it will lose its appeal to me afterwards.
