A few hours ago as I was pulling out of a petrol station...walked away without a scratch....if I'd been a foot further forward I'd have been in big trouble...

recovery guy seemed to think so, the A pillar was slightly kinked and he thought the roof was too....its a snotter so it will cost too much to repair.

Sad thing was I'd paid for a full service 10 minutes beforehand!

Nasty, that looks a similar size to the one that fell on my car in France, only I was doing about 50 at the time I noticed it falling. I still thank my lucky stars that A pillars are as stronger than oak trees.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the insurance will deffinately write that off.

Maybe look at replacing it. Try branching out to other models.

Can't we just sympathise with the guy, instead of resorting to that old PH chestnut of tenuous puns?

Leaf it out, boys.

Luckier than this guy, and his passenger.

Yew might be able to polish that out, and just spruce it up a bit.

Hopefully you won't spend too much time pineing for a new car, second hand Golf's are in short supply as they are very poplar.

Glad you're ok smile
