looks like some lovely classic fords there....one question why do such a large number of Ford drivers drive like complete tools?

I am sure a load got banned from the ACE Cafe for driving like tools.....I dont understand it...yeah drive it fast on track but whats so cool about doing a wheel spin in a carpark? tongue out

I must still be a small child at heart, because seeing that escort van sliding sideways does it for me,i enjoy a little showboating in rwd of course.

I am nearly forty so i suppose i need to get a grip! I spent four years being a tool in my 200sx so many fond memories, keep it sideways i say biggrin

Hahaha I must be old before my time then at 35 smile

I just see it as a bit silly and seems very much part of the ford scene....kinda puts me off ever getting one...bit like all RS Turbo Escort drivers hug the steering wheel with one arm whilst the seat back is wound down to near horizontal....WTF is that all about eh....??? tongue out

Rite off to get my pipe n slippers on and settle in for the evening with a nice sherry biggrin

haha yeah i guess theres a lot of 30 yr olds in the ford scene, its an affordable scene in the UK so unlike the yank scene for example which attracts the older gents (who still like to light them up every now and then)

but it gets the bod pumping and if you have ever been to santa pod you would understand the feeling.

but that was 6 burnouts from maybe 300 cars? and if it wernt for the crowd of 10 yr old kids egging on every car it may have only been one or two. i guess its just good fun.

ps i should mention that the ace cafe use the old skool ford name but the club dont attend and havent given permission for use of the name, so bad press given due to those events are not related to the club nor were those few guys that got banned members of the club as i understand it

Heheh good it wasn't a dig more of an observation (hence the last comment line)....that sort of bothers me a little smile

Guess I just grew out of it all....spent the best part of my 20's very sideways and sometimes backwards too!

I will admit I have even managed to get the A6 sideways.....once or twice...oh and that's FWD smile

I think with the old bill ready to pounce on any of us in anything moderately different, acting like that is just making us (PH'ers) more of a target....maybe??
