Be honost, after seeing the line-up, which car did you think was gonna win. I had my money on the 458 Italia.

Being honest, with non-modifid cars there's not much to touch the Nissan. There are loads of drag race video clips and it generally seems to annihilate most things this side of a Veyron. If they'd used a porsche 911 turbo instead of the GT3 then I'd guess it would've been close between one of those and the GTR.

Just before watching the video I'm going to say the GTR or the Corvette to take the win..

Ahh.. I thought the Vette was a ZR1.. not a Z06. That won't have helped wink

My choice too. I thought the 'vette might edge it though.

Shame about the Evora - won't do US sales much good.

I had a feeling the GTR would get it, but I would've put money on the 458.

10 RWD cars and one 4WD one... gives the GTR a fair old advantage off the line.

there's a lot more to the might of the GTR than it's 4wd system, although it helps smile

And there's an R8 that I missed as well. smile

But look how much better the GTR gets off the line than the Ferrari and how close they are at the end. Over 30mph I'd say the Ferrari looks the faster car. Mind you, it is a damned slight more expensive.

I wonder if the cars with launch control were allowed to use it?

The SLS didn't get off to a good start. The driver would have influenced the outcome of this race quite a bit scratchchin

yes I think terminal velocities would be more interesting than times, in a way, since they're less affected by the driver and low-speed traction.

That race reminded me of the olympics where they put the slower athletes in the outside lanes.
