A week ago I went to a local museum to see dinosaurs (new exhibit), but along the way saw another exhibit about California's history. Among the Indian and Spanish curiosities was this thing: the Curtis OX engine. Look at how modular and exposed it is, just looked great, especially considering it is a century old! Would be awesome in a project or kit car.

Hope you all enjoy!

Don't most early engines look a bit like this?

It's rather cool, I agree, but is there something unsual about it?

All engines look the same, more or less, but seeing all of the guts and it bolted together like that was very different. Nothing made today looks like this, AFAIK. Check out the video for a version of this engine being started up!

True - And a V8 too!

Although 90 BHP is only a little more than a '76 5.0 Mustang biggrin
