I thought I had told you this you muppet, no it doesnt, modern paint tends to be better fromulated plus its base plus a clearcoat rather than just ordinary red paint, therefore its protected by the laquer which takes the rigours of the elements. Do you ever see anythign from the last ten years turning pink, it was old Vauxhalls limke Corsa's and Astra's that went pink over time, the Audi wont, its the DPF, Oil Pump Drive, turbo and injectors you need to be fretting about mate !

Red has never oxidised as long as you use that stuff called polish realtively infrequently.

"Fromulated" = made from french cheese biggrin

To the rest, I have been living and breathing Audi A4 Avant's for a month now, can anyone give him any pointers as to the pitfalls now we have established it wont turn pink overnight, though I am tempted to nip round with some pink water based paint and give it a quick coat one night biggrin

He used to own a Pink Corsa, litterally if he polished it, it was red for about 20 minutes.
