Rather than leaving it in the hands of some very doubtful looking characters, I've decided to (try to!) get involved in road safety for my Council and have received some positive replies from the Chairman of my district.
I've had about enough of 'Local Safety Camera Partnerships' focussing purely on speeding and cashing in rather than tackling some of the important points- most of which discussed on here. I've offered the view of someone much younger than the usual suspects you see involved in road safety and it looks like my case will be heard.
I just want to do something about the ridiculous amounts of fecking vans lurking around, hiding behind trees with scammeras to produce cash and fixed sites on lovely, open blatently safe bits of road...
Oh well, I can try eh?!
