I've a feeling that we have different tastes, as Chim owners will like 'middle of the road' golfing type stuff.

Here for starters is my Big Bad Wedge-type tune...slightly more macho': biggrin

you gotta be kiddin' me !

that defines MOR for me...

If you're going to go back, what about the Stones, Hendrix, Zeppelin ? Floyd even. Then Pistols, Clash, Ramones, NY Dolls. Then Funk & Disco. (Forget the 80's with the exception perhaps of Blondie)then Drum N Bass, indie etc. etc. etc.

I have seen all of them play, and bought most of that music...starting with my first purchase in 1964 of 'All Over Now' by the Rolling Stones. Have you ? smile

I was just throwing something out there to start things off.

Oh, and Dr.Feelgood was probably one of the best live bands around, and with one of the best lead guitarists.smile

ummm, Hendrix had the bad manners to die before I got a chance to see him play, terribly bad form...

you must be nudging 70 (guessing 61 actually)! I can just picture you at at a Dizzee Rascal gig wink

Reminds me of my dad's funeral where one of the guests (used to be an upmarket estate agent) turned up dressed like a Keith Richards impersonator. That look's fine - but ONLY if you're Keith Richards !

59 actually.smile

I was lucky enough to see Jimi at the Isle of Wight in '69, and the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park that same year.

I wouldn't swap with being around during the greatest era of rock music...and cars, and open roads with half the number of vehicles , 70mph national speed limit and no speed cams. Passed my test at 17, brand new company car at 19, expenses and car not taxed. smile

I do still go to gigs practically every week, as my 17 year-old son is lead guitarist and keyboard player in a rock band.

Here's one for you Zig:

Saw them play this show at York Uni'....for £1. biggrin
