Cerbera at the shows

Just recovering from a brilliant weekend at the Hifi & Tuning show in Oulu, Finland.
There were a lot of us together, me and my partners with our business, and friends with theirs being brought together by our love of cars. I'd applied to take the Cerbera there about 2 months ago and it was accepted, and we were given a stand right next to the stage, meaning the pressure was increased to make the cars look good.
Thankfully, I didn't have to do much, the car is in really good condition body wise, so I had to clean it up, change a few rusty bolts and stop the power steering leak. Luckily, one of my business partners is also a mechanic, so we traipsed around Oulu looking for 8mm copper pipe to replace the original. After a few attempts at curling the end of the pipe, the 3rd time worked and there was no more leak from the power steering. I will replace the whole thing with some proper connectors at some point, but it works great for now. Also, gave me a good chance to look under the car and clean the chassis.

So, with the car fixed and cleaned, it was off to the show. On the night I took it there, it was already attracting a lot of attention from the other participants, including one guy asking all kinds of questions, and wondering how he can justify a Cerbera to his wife! I don't think I spoke a word of English over the weekend, so many Finns interested in the car, some knowing a little of it, and many people sitting in it of all ages. Some guy was asking about using it in drifting competitions and a lot of others just basically asked me "What is it?!"

Of course, on the way home, the coolant pipe fell off. Luckily I was right next to a garage, and I managed to get there and replace the pipe and coolant in the car park.

The car will be going away for the winter soon, and I'll start taking bits off and painting them, ready for next year.
