Very impressed by the quality, packaging(nightmare!)and cost.

I'm sure they are not! Not for that price. They are made in Vietnam I think (as per 'Top Gear' moped gag), but I'm really surprised at the quility. Much better than I hoped.

ETA... taking total length of original and length/height of model, it works out to 1:67 (ish) scale. It's 28 cm taller than the kit you mention (and a further 10 cm stand).
