Ok, so I might be lying a bit, but my hire company asked me to leave their car at home today so they can collect it, they haven't bothered, or bothered to ring me, so I have a Lexus blocking the drive up.

Anyone want it?

On a serious note, I can't get hold of the hire company or my insurance company (just rings and rings and rings and rings) and I'll be working away until Saturday now, so can they charge me for the extra hire, or demand I get it back to them somehow??

To be honest it's been a PITA so far with the hire company and Insurance appointed claims management company, and I'm now getting annoyed that after a week of phone calls and chasing people up they can't be bothered to collect the bloody thing! frown

I've been getting phone calls for the last week about it being off hire, been trying to arrange collection/find out what is happening about my car (which is still damaged), absolute joke of a company, seriously tempted to do a deal with the local (oh cant say that work can I, erm....) Scrap metal dealers of no fixed abode and make a bit of cash!

On a serious note, can I charge them storage fees, they would!

Hmm, £10/day storage? smile

Hire companies do this all the time. Just park it on the road - problem solved?
