It's bleeding freezing this evening and I'm huddled under a blanket with a cocoa and about to make a hot water bottle.

Point blank refuse to put the heating on until October. Where the hell is the Indian summer?!!

So who had given in yet?

Already on . Not sure it is because I feel a little run down or it is the weather

In bath atm to free up joints ( old bike crash injury).

When your wounds tell you it's time, it's time.

Judging by last years gas and electricity bill I have carefully calculated that the most economical way of staying warm this winder is: Sherry.

It's been cold here today (Highlands) and thankfully the heating at the b&b is on. At home I try and leave it as long as possible before switching it on - I'll be sitting there wearing a hat, scarf and a blanket before I give in.

Thermo will kick it in if temp <20 degrees C, so I have no idea these days lol.

SW Essex was blowy today but window in my man's room was open all day; it dropped to 12 deg C by 8pm when I went out for a quick bicycle ride for 20 mins to the fried chicken shop. Feel a bit puky now but will have a tot of "tonic" to sort me out.
