Need a good set of tyres for the daily motorway plod
Discussion
The Conti Sport Contact 2 shoes on my Focus are due for a swap after 11k on the road. A tyre fitters near work has offer £264 for a replacement pair (inc VAT and fitting, but that seems a bit pricey considering all I want them for is pounding up and down the motorway on the daily commute.
The Conti's are 225/40 92W, and I don't want to go down on the speed and load ratings.
I was wondering what other makes are available that are more hard wearing and not as expensive.
