S if you havent heard, theyre remaking point break. Aside from it being a good or bad idea it is happening and a few of us at work earlier were struggling to cast the two leads. I wont say who we suggested yet, but can anyone offer ideas?

Also, for an extra ten points, highlander needs recasting too.

Horrible news - I hope this is a wind-up.

Hope they don't go for a younger audience and stick Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in as the leads!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt could do a good Agent Utah.

Didn't they already remake it with cars? - Fast and Furious, it dam near the same story.

It's not a bad film, but there's nothing original about it, I can't see the point in remaking something that wasn't new or intersting, when it was new.

I was just about to post the following:-

Replace Reaves with Paul Walker and Swaize with Vin Diesel, then instead of banks and surfing have them do something that involves cars like robbing trucks on the move and street racing. Perhaps throw in a love interest that is related in some way to the main baddie who the FBI agent (make him a cop in this one who wants to be FBI maybe?) falls for. And perhaps steer the attention away from who the robber is by having another group of suspects who beat up or shoot at the cop early in the movie. Then have the hero question his motives and get found out and have to put it all on the line to either bring down the baddie or maybe let him go.

I guess we were thinking the same thing wink
