Ford Fiesta 11 plate warning light PLZ HELP!!!

My partners fiesta is a 11 plate 1.4tdci which has just been serviced and now a warning light has appeared on the dash.

Looked in the manual and it says fuel diluting oil !!!

is this a major worry and has anyone experienced this with their ford ( any model)

Could this be a common fault and more to the point is this chargeable with a ford dealership. i would have thought that it would come under manufacturers warranty as it is only 5 months old and is a leased vehicle

Sounds like a DPF problem, the earlier 1.4TDCi did`nt have one but yours might.

If its just been serviced.. They might have forgotten to reset the DPF Data.

We have to reset the data on the diesel vehicles, but a few times the technician has somehow forgotten and the vehicle thinks its not been serviced. Just needs a quick 5 minutes on the computer.
