German Ebay?

What about America? I'm guessing they just need to be LHD or do they need an EU stamp?

I think they need to be European, because of the beam pattern. Ive tried German Ebay and Dealers but not succesfull. Ive found some Halogen headlights for sale however, not sure if they can fit straight onto a Xenon configured car? And they dont look as pretty

Just a thought and you may have already checked this, but I have heard of some headlight units having a lever to switch them between left and right hand drive beam patterns.

Yea some cars do, i phoned Mazda to find this out but they said they weren't sure (great help) and also if they did have a switch, they would need a waiver (probably from British Forces Germany) to do so...

Pretty sure the RX8 doesn't have this feature (was very cool on the Calibra, although all it actually did was cut off the RHD beam so it didn't dazzle oncoming traffic, rather than switch between RHD and LHD pattern).

If it`s for a BFG light-test you`ll need proper LHD units, the days of having a 'flat' beam for the test are long gone...

There used to be a place that advertised in the Sixth Sense that dealt with headlights when I was there, have you tried there?

If not I`m guessing you`ll need to visit your local Mazda dealer complete with tax-free form in hand.

I checked that site out (rogersheadlights) and he only sells Halogen style for the rx8.

I contacted my local Uk Mazda dealer, guy said he can sqaure a set away, £490 each so £980 for both... this works out at 1/6th of the price for the car. Bit steep. Can i take a tax free form to a uk mazda dealer from my BFG office?

Wow, not cheap

You could try to ask on a German forum. I have used German BMW forums and ebay quite a bit. I always apologise for asking in English then ask the question. Have never failed to get the help I needed.

Hmm, I guess you`ll have to ask the UPO about that. If you can prove they`re for export I don`t see why you can`t get them tax-free, Amazon do tax free for BFPO after all.

I`d have thought your local German Mazda dealer would be the best bet to be honest.
