Well mine has broken and fallen off and now (as not covered by AM warranty) its going to cost hundreds to replace the whole switchbank as the button does not come on its own...

Its the one at the bottom middle of the pic...

Does anyone have an old / spare / stolen button they can sell me?!

Thanks

I'm getting the dealer to install the new pair of switch packs I have when the car is serviced on 6th December. You are welcome to the old satnav joystick, assuming it will come off without being damaged.

I bought a set Tony Hall's stainless steel knobs. Unfortunately one of the previous owners had superglued the audio knobs onto their flimsy plastic shafts. Both mechanisms came apart when I tried to remove them, but I managed to superglue the bits together as a temporary repair. Switch packs cost £330 each with AMOC discount. BTW Tony is working on a stainless steel joystick - not sure I will risk it!

Tony Hall is our resident engineering genius. I would certainly advocate giving him a PM. Can't hurt, and he may be able to help/advise.

A rough diamond (emphasis on the rough smile ) Knows his stuff though.

Make sure your audio knobs have not been superglued before you buy. They should slide off withould much pressure. The three larger climate control knobs can be a bit difficult too!

Actually now you mention it, he does have a Jaguar and is known to lurk in the shadows at AMOC meets...

Yeti, bit surprised you haven't recommended the sarah Maynard range to OP as an (expensive but bespoke) alternative to Antonius Hall smile

I'm very happy with my Sarah Maynard controls, just had her make me a bespoke anodised ashtray lid with 'Volante' engraved on it in fact and i have a unique gerashift surround on the way, subtley different to all the others. But due to the disgust of the PH massive last time, I won't be mentioning her stuff on here again. She was quite upset as she read the thread.

Put aside your personal feelings Yeti and try to promote the product. Most people thought Sarah's products were of a high quality but - you are correct - the majority, not all, felt they did not represent optimum value for money.

Be good to let OP decide.

Furthermore, you were the same over your new DBS bonnet on your DB9. It looks awesome, and a tiny bit confused. Just because others would not undertake the modification on their own cars does not make it any less stunning.

Open Forums, eh. Nice to know our collective noun to be the 'PH Massive' smile
