Kangoo van....quick question
Discussion
Just had belt and tensioner on my 57 plate diesel done for a little over £200 Inc vat. He didn't say if it was particularly difficult. I reckon it is DIY if you know what you are about, but do recall reading something about " keyless" (?) Renault engines being a pain, not sure if that's mine.
Ps , the belt that came off looks brand new, but the tensioner was worn In the mechanics opinion.
This was at 76000 mls, cos I was nervous, it's a great van.

Its a early one, 1998 S plate, so no keyless nonesense! and yep, 1.9 derv.
The same as mine - 1998 S, 1.9 diesel. I had the cambelt/tensioner done when I got it in 2009 and it cost £240 all in.Does it manage over 40 knocking around?
