Very good deals on a BMW 7-Series lease....!
Discussion
Just a heads up really. If anyone is interested the BMW 7-Series can be found on: http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/personal/car... . There are a number of companies on here who have the 7 for a very reasonable £399 pcm EXC VAT (company) and £478 INC VAT (personal). 6x23 or 4x35.
Not bad for a £60k+ car.
That is all (I have no affiliation to this site or anyone on there). It just struck me as quite cheap.

Last time someone (AB) posted a leasing deal for a 635D loads of people came on saying that if they had £80k they'd buy an Aston (with twice the leasing costs) or some kind of vintage Jag. Guessing this thread will go that way.
The deal that AB got was through a BMW main agent - I'm guessing that they may well be worth tapping up for a 7 series now as theyll be trying to get rid with a new model on the way

Ive never owned a car on lease before so do not fully understand exactly how they work but to get a car worth so much for the price mentioned above do you need to put down a HUUUUUUUUGHH deposit?
Are you limited to mileage?
do you have to pay anything at the end?
Is it the same as HP or are they different?
Am I talking rubbish?
How exactly does it work?

Deposit - normally three monthsAre you limited to mileage?

Mileage - Yes
Pay Anything at the end - not unless there is damage to repair. Some are better than others at finding (inventing) damage
HP - Different. Lease you give back at the end, and are effectively just renting the car.

Are you limited to mileage? 10k pa I believe
do you have to pay anything at the end? No, though you will pay for any dents or damage
Is it the same as HP or are they different? Different, you're not buying the car, you're renting it in reality
Am I talking rubbish? Nope
How exactly does it work? You pay the deposit and the monthly payment for 2 years, then give it back

So essentially a never ending money pit with nothing to show at the end. Mileage - Yes

The quote is for an F01 Seven, the E65 has been gone for over a year.
It's from Dick Lovett BMW and is a 6/23 10k mpa, non-maintained one presumes as it's not mentioned.
£3,225.60 deposit + 23x £537.60. So you're paying a total of £15,590.40 to run a 730d SE for two years and 20,000 miles on a Personal Contract Hire deal.
I will expect they have a few stock vehicles ready to go for September delivery to meet Q3 target.

A 730d SE lists at £57,420. Do you think you would get more or less than £41,829.60 in PX in two years/20k miles' time? Edited by Zwoelf on Wednesday 14th September 13:54

How much do think your BMW 7 series is going to depreciate in 3 years when you have something to "show at the end".
It's a good deal.

Exactly. £30k ishEdited by Zwoelf on Wednesday 14th September 13:54

Less, bearing in mind that's an AUC retail price, rather than what the same sort of car would fetch the private owner in PX/on the private market.
