Good food/ pub food near chingford

Am in the process of trying to locate a suitable venue for our XMas Bash this year and am wondering if there are any good independant pubs/restaurants thaqt serve decent grub at a decent price.

Recommendations are most welcome!!!

Don't know Chingford well but if you get stuck south woodford may be an option
