Mmm but pink denotes girl or bimbo and you need a reasonable IQ for an DSLR. So pink compacts, yes, but not DSLRs.

Colour of camera is of no concern - I'm only interested in what the camera produces. If they make a D4 in red, and it does what they say it will do, and will do it better than a D3, I'll buy it. Fact is, this is not about taking better photos, it's just a style / marketing / cheap trick / make money / get air heads to buy thing.

They can make all colours of the rainbow as far as I'm concerned, but I'd rather they spend their time and resources making better cameras, not cameras in silly colours in a pathetic attempt at getting idiots interested in cameras.... because they look pretty.

All IMHO of course

Seems a bit odd that the camera manufacturers are getting a bashing for this and yet it's okay for the car companies to offer us a choice of colours?

We should all be driving around in black cars because any other colour is just style over substance.

Quite... I've had an order in for the D4 for ages... what do they do? Bring out pink camera bodies

ETA, as stated, I don't care what colour they make cameras, I'd happily have a pink D4
