BBWF 2012 - Wroxall Abbey Estate

Just to give some info on Wroxall.

"Hi Adrian,
I have now had a chance to confirm with the events team/wedding team the availability for next august at weekends.
Sadly, we have no weekends, where the main mansion hotel is free, it is booked for all w/e's in august fri/sat for all 48 bedrooms and public rooms,the same goes for late july and all sept.
How ever the stable block with court yard called the court,is currently not booked for the following weekends-3/5th,10/12th,24/26th-august,and is also free in july on 6th/8th only.
This would give you 22/ 23 rooms maximum available for arrivall friday, with departure on sunday.
The court yard can be used for bbq's, the main function room seats 80 for a sit down meal or 100plus for a disco with a seperate room available for buffetts, there are also cloakrooms, 2 more breakout rooms and a bar and lounge. it is totally private if all rooms are booked, so is ideal for a club gathering who want to have a party with noise!
The room rates would be fron £99.00 per room with breakfast included (normally it is extra), these rates are for premium wedding season, they would be cheaper if you could do an event in may or oct for example.
The overflow car park by the front feild could be -half- cordoned off just for the tvr's ,and the front feild it self could be used for a car show on the saturday with vendors stalls etc, if you were booking all 22 rooms with food/beverage functions, we would not charge you for the feild.
The other place you could use for photos of the cars apart from the feild is the actual court yard of the court(-see the mg pics attached in the next e.mail I will send you).
The main car park in front of the mansion, would have to be reserved for the exclusive weddings useing the mansion and all the bedrooms in that building.
The format we did for the mg european magnette event, worked very well useing the court as their base for 3 days, they had cars come over from germany,holland ,belgium and paris, they all stayed in the court, parked cars in the court and had a bbq on the friday with private bar with old speckeled hen on tap, 60 people came to the bbq, on saturday they went on rallys to gaydon, then had a formal dinner for 80 in the court function room, with cars also parked in the overflow car park which was cordoned off for them , on the sunday they had a rally to upton house-banbury for 60 magnettes that started from wroxall frontfeild after sunday brunch, it worked well as a place to base them selves, and they did get some great photos of the cars on the estate,
The weekend they chose, may bankholiday weekend , we had 4 mansion weddings on , but it still worked extremley well.
