I guess this is for bex really! I want to get some more treatment for ticks (there's no real chance of Jackson catching fleas) and on petdispensary I've got the choice of Frontline, Effipro or a new brand called Fiprodog. I've used the first two before and they're fine but Fiprodog are a bit cheaper so I was wondering if it's okay?

TIA

Hi

The Active ingredients in Frontline is Fipronil. Fipro dog has the same active ingredient and the same strength per pack size (ie med dog 1.34ml per pipette which contains 134mg Fipronil)

Basically they're the same so if you have found Frontline to work re: ticks there is no reason why Fipro dog shouldn't.

I use frontline drops for fleas/ticks but recently used stronghold which does worms, ticks, fleas and ear mites.

Just so you know Stronghold does not provide Tick protection.
