Now I know it's always been dumb... But it's been good, dumb fun, like a cheesy action flick, where you leave your brain behind as you enter the cinema.
But, Ace: AH, demo on Live yesterday, has been dumbed down beyond belief.

Helicopters on rails? Check
Fighters you can't bank properly? Check
Cheesy arcade "over the gunport" on-rails dogfights between skyscrapers, where you cannot crash, just aim and shoot? Check...

Biggest steaming pile of ste ever, even worse than the abortion that was HAWX 2.

The Ace franchise is now dead.

Always used to love the Ace Combat serires, then Over-G Fighters came out on the 360 and was and still is IMHO the best console flying game around. Much better than recent AC or Hawx, only problem is no one plays it any more so it's just me and a couple of mates playing ont the multiplayer. Shame AC have continued to lose their way.

I love the Ace series on PS2, all those slightly dodgy CGI sequences, over the top storylines and some familiar sounding countries with serious military-industrial economies.

Have there been any "decent" versions for PS3?
