Serious stomach upset
Discussion
Lots of fluid, something to replace salts that you are loosing like diorylite.
No dairy, plain pasta/ rice with no sauce, bread with no butter, anything that is ver bland. You might feel better with food in your stomach.
Avoid immodium to allow whatever has caused the problem to leave your system.

could be worse.... i have been to egypt 4 times in 14 months and it has ruined my stomach and bowels.
stuff i used to be able to eat like tapas (2 nights ago) has me in cramps and sitting on the toilet all night.
im now having to keep a food diary to see for ruins me and stay away from them and i have no idea what is causing it, the dr thinks its IBS and some days I just sit there bloated to hell even though i have had a salad the night before, not pleasant or nice and wish i could get an answer to it.
I now have to stay clear of lager/coke cause its so fizzy it just bloats me and makes me feel full on an empty stomach.

Taking both of the above, thanks. Not helping a lot
Though it has got less frequent I am still needing to go every couple of hours, there's also blood in it from time to time. Really boring now, hope it goes soon.
Worryingly colon cancer symptons look fairly similar!!
Should I see the dr yet?

A doctor will recommend Buscopan and liquids, maybe ask for a stool sample(hahaha). You'll be better in three days, more or less.

Sounds like you're on the mend anyway.
My son was recently diagnosed with cryptosporidium. It is likely husband and I also had it. Pretty horrendous (which for me also inc vomiting) this caused stomach cramps. Fluid replacement, rennies, paracetomol, rest and patience! I would say if not a lot better in 24hrs get checked out.

tting, not fussed about that as such, just the cramps that come with it
