Forza 4 Demo release date 3rd Oct

Well there seems to be rumblings around on the net about a demo for Forza 4 coming out today. There has been no Thursday roundup at .net and the car lists have not been all that good. Kaido was announced but that was seen in some very very early videos of FM4. Also Tokyo Game Show is coming to a close and when FM3 demo was released was on September 15th....when the TGS closed.

You've just told everyone that nothing is happening basically. I was hoping for a demo to be confirmed so I could shout and swear and say how annoyed I was that I was still at work!


I hope there will be a demo though!

Been to Gamefest at the NEC today. They had FM4 set up with the new wireless wheel and on other consoles with gamepads. It was set up on the new Alps track with a Mercury muscle car, Subaru WRX or Ferrari 599 GTO. I liked it, the wheel was ok to use, good with small inputs so pretty accurate. The track was good but somehow it felt more like a Gran Turismo or Ridge Racer track, maybe it was that glass tunnel section on the straight. Oh and the Ferrari is a bh , heavy and drifty . Once it starts sliding you are going to end up facing the other way .

It would be unusual for there not to be a demo, they've released one for the two previous FM games on the 360, didn't someone from the development team say that new Alps track would be everyones first taste of Forza? Whether that means as a demo or the first race to set your difficulty ala FM3 who knows!

As I'm sure you'll all have recognised, the car is an MR2 Roadster. Ordinarily, we race the car with the same Toyota 3.5l V6 engine that you'll find in the Lotus Evora, but thanks to Toyota's involvement this year we have a supercharger too.

The 3rd October is still quite a wait At least F1 2011 should fill the void for awhile!

Now the post below might be rubbish, but this was mentioned on the FM4 forums by a member:

There is the possibility of the demo date mentioned referring to the Silver membership. If so it's not uncommon that Gold membership have access to the demo a week earlier.
My original guess for the demo was the 27th, so i'd me happy to be right if this is the case. It would make more sense for everyone to have a week or more access to the demo before release anyway. Based on past history at least. I guess we'll know next week.

So perhaps we will see the demo sooner than we think?

To much good stuff coming out in the next few weeks! Why do they do this! Hope it's like the Forza 3 demo with just one track and a couple of different class cars. Really enjoyed competing with mates and PH over the different tiers.
