Originally French registered, regular visitor to Bedford Autodrome, jack damage, exhaust damage, storage damage, doesn't start, crunchy second gear, tyres done for, some corrosion.

"I could not compete for speed with EVO's so I used to drive it for "style" and hold it sideways"

"The suspension was from the italian touring car championship"

"Brake pads were the highest ones available, it once came off the track when the system overheated - it was a lot of fun spinning off at 130"

Want?

Anyone?

I agree! Needs more than a bit of TLC!

Strange that given how much work is needed there are a lot of bids. If the engine needs stripping and a rebuild doing, tyres, suspension, bushes, roll bars, (well pretty much everthing needs doing) you are in to some serious money even if you do all the work yourself.

This was £10k earlier today, now at £11k with just under eight days to go...I can see this making £15k because SZ values have increased by as much as 50% over the last year eek

Might not need an engine rebuild, perhaps just a bit of TLC...

Makes more sense if they have gone up that much, hadn't realised they were on so much of an upward spiral.

Could just be a brief blip in the market but there have been several for sale in the £30-40k region recently.

Fairly unique alloy wheels on these then; I don't know of any other cars that have springs built into the wheels biggrin

Madness, just thinking how much it costs just to have those split rims refurbished properly makes me want to go lie down. Then the brakes, suspension, brave buyer at that mileage and history, especially if they are expecting to make a profit.
