I'm sure there used to be a pet friendly UK holidays sticky somewhere, looking for somewhere Southern(ish) and coastal for a long weekend. Lodge or cottage.

the Cottages4u site is pants, as all the pet friendly ones that the search brings up are no pets allowed, and I'm getting tired of Googleing myself into a dead end or crap site.

any ideas please? the PH search found nowt.

There are loads of other sites as well. Main difficulty I always find is getting one that's available!

This is a bit bizarre but works, if you go onto the retired greyhound trust website, on to the mouse power page there is a link to cottages for u website that will allow you to search for cottages allowing dogs does actually work, and they donate 10% of the cost of your holiday to the rgt so everyone winssmile

The Dogs Trust have an affiliation with a cottage company, check their website for the link.

Or, if there is a particular area you're looking for, ask for recommendations...

Am currently in the New Forest for a week, at the excellent Balmer Lawn hotel (http://www.balmerlawnhotel.com/) which is very dog friendly.

I did start this a while back....
Would be good to have some more listings of recommended places - and maybe a sticky if it is useful?

It would be a mod; I don't think they hang out around these parts much, there aren't that many internet fights or pron postings..... although technically trolls would be classed as creatures (small).... but even they don't really hang out here unless they are wanting to buy squirrels.

Mod?
