Think any of these colours/schemes/styles will make a comeback ?

Thinking the Fiat 500 (new) is doing some of them as options. I really like the simplicity, wonder whether AUdi might add some to their palette ?

Not much chance of Audi offering them - I thought you could have an Audi in any colour you want as long as it's grey?

On topic though, most of those colour schemes would look absolutely horrific on a modern car.

Presumably it's a one-off they built for the fire brigade....

Or some other monochromatic hue, i.e. White, black or silver !

Saw a Fiat 500 in a similar shade to the Anglia and it looked great, think they do a similar green but then it is Retro styled, would love to see some of these kinds of colours on some other stuff to see if it works, I think Audi did that flat grey for the TT for a while, quite liked that.

I think the reason for these colours was paint technology rather than them being great colours but I think they could work on some more modern stuff, brilliant white is getting played out now, Matt black has had its day as well, would like to see some Full Fat RR's painted in say the green above, I think it could look classy and understated but still diffferent, complete antithesis to the Khan type stuff, keep away from the metallics for a bit.

They do do them, TT in Misano red, see the odd A4 in it and it does look good.
