New PC time the week before me thinks. I played both Morrowind and Oblivion for over 400 hours, I want Skyrim to run as good as is digitally possible.

irked I WISH.

I've got a 50% share (and residential custody) of a PS3, one of the 'original' ones I think... it even crashes with Oblivion now and then. frown Bought it with my housemate in 2008.

Is Skyrim going to be on X-Box?
I tried to get into consoles about a year ago, I've always played games on PC. I did have a Wii but only played Tiger Woods golf on that.

Went out with a mate who's an expert and bought an X-Box and all the gubbins plus whatever the latest COD was at the time, hated it, thought the game was mind numbingly boring and couldn't get used to the controller, used it for 2hrs tops.
Not to be deterred I went out the following week and bought a PS3 with all the gubbins, still hated it, still couldn't do a thing with the controller but I did get into Disc Golf using the Move thingy. So that is still part of my setup.

That leaves an X-Box, with 2 controllers and the wifi bit sitting in my loft in a black bag. It has had a maximum of 2 hours use and is rapidly losing it's value.
I would be willing to part with it for a pittance if you could make use of it Becca.

That's an incredibly generous offer, thankyou so much. I think I'm probably better off saving up for a new PS3 one of these days as having a second console would probably be a bit much, but if you'd like to see your X-box go to a good home I'd be happy to look up the local kids hospice or something for you - I know myself how much of a sanity saver having a console has been when not well enough to get out and about for days or weeks on end.

The game that really got me into the PS3 was the original Pixeljunk Shooter and the Ratchet and Clank games - both utterly utterly brilliant and well suited to the platform, have a go if you're looking for more games to try out. Ratchet and Clank I'm pretty sure have free trials available, and check out the names of all the games in the series for a good giggle...

Ohhh. How much you looking for it, and what model is it? I wanted to get one for someone as a present who deserves one, I will not go into the reasons here but can on a pm if you like....

I've pretty much written off the remainder of the year and the first quarter of the next one due to this game. Cannot wait.

I'm happy because this means they're starting Fallout 4.

yes Same here.
I can't wait! I'm going to get it on the PC (rather than the PS3) so I'm hoping my PC is powerful enough to run it well. Does anyone know if the specs are up yet?

I was looking for another RPG a while back so I picked up Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition (already completed DA2 but I missed this first time around) - it's absolutely bloody enormous. At this rate I don't think I will have finished it by November.

Looking forward to this but it’s coming out the same day as MW3, I have a feeling that will be stealing all my time. Definitely be picking it up at some point though.

The name "Skyrim" just sounds wrong. It sounds like a dodgy porn movie. hehe

(Looking forward to seeing the Skyrim engine used in Fallout4 though)

I agree on both counts hehe

I didn't play the original Elder Scrolls game, but I might buy this in an effort to help me get over the disappointment of Fallout: New Vegas.

Oblivion has been dusted off and my charactor reloaded for a quick practise!

Got it pre-ordered from play.com

Can't wait! Thank god for shift work and the time off that brings!
