Just about to insure the Missus' Jazz for another year and am thinking not too bother with the additional £28 premium for 'Motor Legal Protection'....surely a No Win No Fee solicitor would do the same job if need be?
Exactly what you would be paying for only upfront and touch wood you won't have to use it anyway.I've not paid for it since the time when I was hit by a mini cab many years ago. My insurers wrote to the cab driver to get his details but he didn't respond, so they got their lawyers to send out threatening letters etc. When they got no response they told me that the trail had gone cold and that without his insurance details there was nothing they could do. My dad called the other party's employers and got the cover details from them, I passed the info on to my insurers, I made a successful claim...
Big waste of money IME.
