Paint Sprayers...Any good?
Discussion
have a read of the reviews, from my experience basic sprayers aimed at the general public arn't all they are made out to be! ive got a proffesional sprayer and its awesome for doing whole rooms!
maybe you would be better with a airbrushing sprayer? you know, those small ones used for detailing?
failing that, call in the pros!
not for furniture"I bought this to spray mdf and pine panelled doors and furniture i made, but found i had to dilute( needed a lot of test area to get right) the water based paint so much it soaked the mdf and made it really rough(much more than normal water based primer diluted by 10%), and raised the grain in the pine loads, took well over an hour to be touch dry,( usually 20 minutes) and the atomistation was really poor for the amount of paint delivered, comes out fast. Probably great for fences but you would be constantly stopping to fill up the tiny reservoir it comes with. Cleaning was easy and quick but would be a night mare with solvent based paint. I took it back and got a refund."
