Car Locks Ruined - How to cover the damage?
Discussion
Whilst working away in the big smoke, I received word that my mothers 1994 Micra had been stolen but later recovered (found by my Dad driving around a locally known "area") Both the locks are ruined and they oddly stole the cover for the passenger side door arm rest!?!?
Now the real question, I am fitting replacement locks this weekend and want to cover the hole/damage to the side of the locks (both side).
Is this really the best I am going to get? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...
Or are there better solutions? (preferably not the thin stickers, as it will simply distort with the damaged metal).

If it's too big for the stickers do it properly with sanding, filler and paint.
Sorry I meant the hole cut out of the circle is almost twice the size of the lock we have just removed.Think we have found a solution, literally using a rubber plumbing washer around the barrel covers the damage and almost looks factory (sounds odd I realise). Just popping to see if there is anything more suitable in B+Q
