A few from the Lake District

Decided to go out walking on 11th Sept around Haweswater Reservoir. Probably not the best idea when the tail end of Hurricane Irene was whipping across the area but what the hell! Interesting near the top given that the winds and gusts had me off my feet a few times and the rain was coming in sideways. The camera didn't come out the bag at that point but I did get a few on the way up.

Converted to black and white as cloud was at about 700 metres meaning light was very poor.

An Art Deco building by the waters edge which is theme throughout, has some very nice details inside.. great food too
