1M - it's all in the stance...
Discussion
Having owned my 1M for a few months, it never fails to surprise me how many people [when seeing it in the metal for the first time] comment how much more aggressive it looks in real-life as opposed to the pictures they've seen. The subtle aggression of the stance is something that IMO gives this car it's special nature. With that in mind I tried to get some pics of the aggressive nature...

Anyway, making my way backover (I spent lots of time on here during my TVR owning period) from 1Addicts to PH after wanting more UK M Power chat rather than the US dominated talk over there.

Love the pics Clive,
Just a heads up about something i am working on: www.bmwmowner.com
Any help in getting some other owners/enthusiasts signed up and posting would be great.
Still very very early days and still work in progress.

Sorry to buck the trend here, but i think the 1M looks almost 4x4 in some shots, too high!
The one area where the 1M seems slightly less than perfect handling wise is high speed stabilty. At +120 upwards it feels quite unstable and nervous and this gets progressively worse as the speed rises. I've no doubt that this is partly due to the car's 'tippy toes' stance (as well as it's short/square wheel base) and I suspect lowering would help enormously. NOTE I'm using the terms 'unstable' and 'nervous' relatively when compared with something like, say, an M3. All a question of degrees. It does NOT feel like an accident waiting to happen!Pugsey said:

I used ot have a 123d company car before the M3 and that felt the same, not very confidence inspiring, lets not forget, these are relatively small cars. Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
