As per the title, looks good
"Documentary focusing on the dramatic land speed record duels of the 1960s between Craig Breedlove, in his beautifully crafted cars Spirit of America and Sonic 1, and Art Arfons, known as the `Junkyard Genius' due to his record-breaking vehicle being built of scrap and stock parts. Family, friends and the racing drivers themselves are seen talking about the death-defying contests which saw the 400, 500 and 600mph barriers broken "

This is a great documentary (its been on before), and made all the better by most of the main protagonists still being alive and being interviewed on the show. It's great when you see then reminiss with a little twinkle in their eye and you can still see the young guy in them still ;-)
First time i have seen it but I knew about the battles from this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/LAND-SPEED-RECORD-Peter-Ho...
Pity Art has passed on but Walt is still going. shows how long ago the programme was made

Interesting that the cover of the book features a picture of the Budweiser rocket which never actually achieved a land speed record.Pity Art has passed on but Walt is still going. shows how long ago the programme was made
Looks like a repeat from 2007 to gain some interest for some new documentaries of a similar theme.
