1 way car hire

I know a lot of you find really great deals on car hire. Anyone know who does the cheapest 1 way car hire?

Need to go from Chester to Ipswich one day this week to collect a car & leave the hire car there. Everyone seems to charge around £30-£40 penalty for doing so.

Any help would be much appreciated

wouldn't it be easier to do that journey on the train. Chester to Euston then underground to Liverpool Street and on to Ipswich? probably be cheaper too
