Have sent us a bill for 74p! yes you read it correctly...74p for the gas we have used in the last quarter, went to pay online with my debit card and it tells me i'm not allowed as the minimum payment amount is £2, what a daft system! rolleyes

How can you only use 74p,s worth of energy?

Maybe they had over-estimated estimates and this is catching up?

They sent me an initial estimated bill for £8 and a few pence, i gave them a meter reading and with prompt payment reduction the bill became 74p, we actually only used 1 unit of gas during the last quarter, no heating has been on and occasional use of the gas hob (water is heated via electric).

Looks like I will have to be in credit by £1.26 by paying the bill online laugh

I had a bill lower than that, tried to pay online would only allow min £2.

so I sent a cheque, the stamp cost more than the bill.

I think we will have to join the Tight bds Club - your gas bill is a bit like my mobile phone bill, usually <£1pcm smile

No tightness involved, I just trained Mrs saleen to put on a jumper if she felt a bit chilly!
