After 3 and half years of ownership, thinking of selling my MY07 Vantage V8.
Cherished car in mint condition, 13,000 miles, full service history.
Slate blue with a stunning blue & cream interior.
Looking to sell for mid forties.
Where is the best place to advertise - Pistonheads, Top Marques, autotrader etc

Looks lovely, I don't think I've seen Slate blue in the flesh.Pistonheads, Autotrader and maybe ebay.
Bear in mind Aston dealers are selling 2007 cars around the low forties at the moment(slightly higher miles),private sales are very hard work at the moment so your price would have to be very competitive. The low mileage should work your favour.GLWS.

Lovely looking car, but for me, there is just no way I would pay £40k+ on a private sale - main dealer at that level all the way.

Good luck

Mid 40's looks a bit steep for a private sale.

Sold mine (privately) with sports pack wheels and less mileage for low 40's.

Before arguing over low 40s vs mid 40s, perhaps finding out more info is a good idea. I'll take the higher price if the brakes, tires, and clutch are new, rather than the lower price on a car that I expect to have to replace these. You really have to evaluate every car on its details.

I paid £39k privately this summer for my '06 with 19k on the clock, unusual colour, lots of options, and clutch tyres and service all done within the previous 1k miles.

Mid 40's might be a bit ambitious, I'd suggest early to mid for an '07, depending on the options fitted. Looking on the Autotrader website now, I can see overpriced cars on there that have been on there since May...
