I'm hoping there are some LPG people lurking on here

I have an Audi A6 Q 4.2 V8, it has a pretty good multipoint LPG install. All working fine until today.

A few weeks back the power steering rack failed, last weekend I started to remove it, this weekend I completed the replacement.

The battery has been off for 9 days and the steering rack replaced, along with some other bits taken off and refitted.

When the car tries to change over to gas the engine dies and I get a beep from the lpg system, I'm not sure if its something I have done replacing the rack or its just not happy about being off for over a week.

I believe its a BRC system, does anyone have any idea where I can start working out what the issue is?

Thanks

Had loads of LPG cars and loads of flat batteries - doesn't affect it.

YOU are the only one who knows what you touched - so go take a look.

If not Google for a specialist as they have diagnostics equipment.

I'd be taking it somewhere to get the LPG ECU interrogated, should narrow it down much more easily!

At a guess, and it is just that, the LPG brains hasn't retained its settings for that length of time the power was removed.
It'll need reprogrammed, but at least the car's ECU will have relearned its ignition timings with the fuel in the tank presently.
