T350C Boot Lock
Discussion
What exactly is broken about it? If its just the actuator, then TVR just use the standard central locking actuators that you can buy in your local Maplin for peanuts.

The lock itself is worn down and loose and can be manually pulled open when locked.edited to add link:

So its the latch mechanism that has failed; pretty sure that is a Ford part too. If you remove it, you should be able to get the ford part number that you could try taking to a Ford dealer to match.
Has anyone ever removed this part, as far as I can see the panel you need to remove to get it out is a glued in bit of fibre glass. Is there a trick to removing it, before I start ripping my interior up.yes, you can remove it without removing the panel.
There are 2 triangluar panels that are velcro'd to the rear, they are behind the light clusters.
Pull them off and you will see that the "u shaped" rib section piece of trims attached via some self tapping screws; undo these and remove the trim.
You then have access to the latch mech, 2 screws and its free. You will also have to unclip the multi plug which will be approximatley central to the rear trim panels. Hopefully you will have a speaker hole there.
If not then agile hands are needed.
here is a pic of the mech in place front and rear:

ignore the steel black plate on the latch, it is a mod to secure the mech properly, the nuts that are fibreglassed into the carrier become loose and this leads to a "wobbly" mech, causing locking problems etc.

Hmm that doesn't tie in with what I am looking at it looking like I have to rip off quite a lot of glued in interior trim before I get to that point. Mine is an early T350 without a luggage cover so may be a little different. There are 2 triangluar panels that are velcro'd to the rear, they are behind the light clusters.
