I saw a car a few days ago advertised on PH. It looked like a nice car and a good price.
I emailed the seller and they advised they were working away and Pistonheads were selling on their behalf. I got a link that looked very professional.
I sent an email to the 'pistonheads' link and this morning had a reply.
'this is how this works, you pay upfront and we deliver the car, the seller only gets the money when the buyer is happy'
Am I being naive? It's just the exact colour/spec that my friend wants. It's not dirt cheap enough to think scam but that's where I am at the moment.

I did think that and told my friend the same - just wanted to check!

Chap. Go and get yourself a coffee, and come back and re-read the above.

Can you send us a copy of the ad reference number? We'll get the advert removed and will deal with the seller.

You have mail.

Advert has gone so might have already been removed.
I've still got the ref number though
