The title says it all really. I've just picked up a spare set of rims for racing use and need to paint them (already stotblasted and primed.)

What kind of paint would be advisable? I don't mean the colour but the actual type of paint... smile

I'll be doing it myself with no experience or special equipment - just a paintbrush in the garage...

I did think about that but wondered if the 'hammered' finish would fvck around with the tyre sealing properly to the rim...

Looks quite pricey, you may be able to get it cheaper elsewhere.

If you aren't fussed on colour, B & Q often have some in thier end of line bargain bin.

Do we get picks when painted? Salmon pink might grow on you! wink

Colour is all but decided. Black or a very dark battleship grey. Probably black though.

Cheers, will have a walk to B&Q at lunch.

I had my steelies powdercoated by Maldon powder coaters in a flat grey - circa £40 per wheel (including blasting)
