Mocal oil cooler stock size??

I've just fitted a 16 row one of these mih coolers.
Dimensions are the same as the 16 row mocal one I took off.
I was going to fit it with rubber mounts rather than bolt it straight to the aluminium bracket but there wasn't enough clearance between the bracket and the wing for the cooler + mounts so left them off.

Yes that was why I was going to fit the rubber mounts. But the original one wasn't rubber mounted and it survived at least 5 years whilst I have had the car. So I'm hoping it will be OK. (I only replaced it because the nose pinion shaved alloy off the inner face of the front cover that got through the mesh on the oil pick up)What I'll likely do is have another look at it over winter and see what bit of the bodywork needs relieving to give the necessary clearance.
The instructions with the cooler do say to install it with rubber mounts on all 8 fixing points but fitting a mounting bracket on the side where the hoses attach will definitely be a challenge.

a 19 row oil cooler (standard?) i found is 14.7x 23.5 = 345.4cm sq so the bottom mouth could fit 60.0x13.0 = 780cm sq.
The water temp has never been an issue, so dont think this will affect it too much.
As far as I can make out the Part No on the Cooler is 7JM3352 or it could be 7J113352, an equivalent is a Serck Speed 7019937 (216mm 19 row 5/8 BSP male connections.)

Nick, just of on the off chance, what temps have you seen and where is your pick up located?I will see 95-100 on a hot day, or once its been used for a couple of hours. Nothing above though

Also idle is usually 30-32psi hot, but after track use its down to 20psi, it recovers after a few minutes once everything has cooled down.
Water temp a steady 85.
