A mate has just acquired a rather nice Jag XKRS for just shy of £100k

On paper its 0-60 time is 4.2 seconds and top speed 186

Sounds kinda familiar................

It would put a smile on my face if my £16k Tuscan can match it.




My car shows 363bhp on the RR so hopefully will be near to TVR's performance figures. It certainly feels at least as fast as my G33 to 62 recorded at 4.3 seconds

Your Tuscan might match it up to 80-100mph but after that the Jag will probably catch and pass you. But the Tuscan won't be embarrased.
Love the colour of that Jag, matt blue seems to be the colour a lot of the new supercars are being shown in at the moment.
Is your Tuscan an S as the figures you are quoting are about right for an S.

Tuscan is a standard one, the 363bhp was on the rollers in April. The Jag will def be faster at the top end as Tuscan aero (or lack of) makes it too scary.

It will be interesting. Whatever happens I can't win if it is going to upset him, he is a 5th dan Tae kwondo Blackbelt and I have just started

It would need to be a sniper rifle. I have watched him disarm people with hand guns in an instant

TBH had a go in the XKRS last night, it is very nice, much smoother/quieter engine than the tusc but doesnt feel any faster. I didn't realise that they are all tiptronic auto's

With traction control etc a crap driver like me would probably be quicker of the line in the Jag than the Tusc. At some point we will find a suitable venue
